This was written, like "Boom-A-Bang-Bang-Bang" without an instrument to hand. I was sat at the computer in my parents house and it arrived in one chunk. Guitar solo and all. James the bassist was having a rough time and I'd recently discovered what the xs and os at the end of someone's emails meant. Both of these things collided in my head and this was the result. Another wonderful lo-fi 4-track recording.

Living in Australia pretty much rules me out of ever attending this festival so my annual purchase of this compilation is surely the next best thing. And I'm pleased to relate that it's up to it's usual high standard. Gavin Hellyer

Another great album - dean wareham, joanna gruesome, lonely tourist, dorotea, the chills, manhattan love suicides & spearmint are all highlights but the whole lot is pretty darn great really martin kiosk
